Description
For those who did not see the original I drew Latios long a go and honestly the drawing kind of bugged me as I felt I made his body wide so this was my attempt at trying to do a better version. Also another thing is sometimes I call Latios my favorite Legendary Pokemon and other times Rayquaza, basically they are both my favorites as I love their dragon designs but sometimes I get more excited about one over the other thus only referring to one as my favorite. The attack I attempted to draw is Luster Purge his and his sister Legendary Latias's unique attack, the focus is was on the energy ball it generates. The reason I fell in love with Latios was the mini story where he stole a bunch of orbs in PMD Red and Blue in hopes to save his sister who was trapped, also I refuse to re watch Pokemon Heroes after what happened to him o-o.

The pose I chose is a more head up and wings out style one as the original had all his body parts more crapped together, also I think his arms being out was a pretty fun part to draw. Another factor I enjoyed about drawing Latios is the smaller colour scheme as sometimes its fun to try out drawings that rely on only a few colours plus the blue and white colours give him a calming colour scheme. The red triangle is kind of like a Ying Yang style decoration as Latias is red but with a blue triangle which kinda suggests they have a little of their sibling in each other :3. The little bits of energy coming out of the main orb are meant to be like excess energy and mini blasts that attack the opponent as the attack is kind of like a multiple stage one in its animation.
