Recently I started watching an anime series called Super YoYo and I have mixed feelings on it, the dub is quite bad lol but the character themselves do interest me plus the YoYo aspect is interesting but feel it could of been done better. Mai faced the main character in the quarte finals of a tournament which involved a hoverboard race where the speed is determined by the level of a trick done but majority of the time everyone did the same trick. At first she starts out as a shy character but she starts getting more cocky in the match against the protagonist which I felt was not really explained. She beat a guy who wanted to face the protagonist and at first she acts like it was a fluke but they hang out a lot after she loses and she sasses him a bit which was interesting.

I went for a triple drawing here as I wanted as I thought a hoverboard drawing would look cool plus I actually love the shots of characters spinning the Yoyo's while the third image is a half body shot I did to just show off her design. I love the formation of the three drawings as I think they play off her design well with me feeling really proud of the hoverboard drawing (thanking you VRains for preparing me for this ). I think her hair colour is meant to be maroon which I thought would be a pain to get but mixing burnt umber and red gave me a tone I felt very happy with =^-^=.
