Description
Mariam is a member of the Saint Shields which is the team lead by Ozuma is anyone ever saw my drawing of him. Basically the team are descendants of a clan I guess who sealed bit beasts which are creatures that are released through beyblades in battle but they did use to be roam across the world I believe. The four protagonists of beyblade bit beasts were four sacred ones that the original clan failed to catch so the Saint Shields are the modern day descendants who decided to take up this role. The team have invisible bit beats at first but later they are revealed and her one is a shark as she is a rival to Max who also has a water bit beast. She beats Max twice (once in a double battle) but loses in their final battle and accepts Max's bond with his Bit Beast.

In terms of battling she in my opinion is not as well explored as the Saint Shields mainly just battle their rival from the protagonist group, but as a character she is the one who teases the power house of the team. She typically mocks a member called Dunga since he was the only one unable to win against his rival however she later gets jelous as he seals away one of the four sacred bit beasts. In one of the episodes she gets trapped in an underground area with her rival Max where she begins to respect him I believe.

Eventually her beyblade gets destroyed by two characters called King and Queen in a two on one attack which is a little sadening as the whole Saint Shields team were dominated in their final battles. But at the same time I loved King and Queen and it was them playing dirty with two on one attacks so she wasn't steam rolled in a one on one battle.
