Background-Maru is the youngest Magician to ever pass the Academy and to join a team due to her large potential in the Weaponary form due to her very powerful Scythe ability. Although she is not as high ranked as her team mates due to them taken quests over her as they look down on her a little due to her younger age.

Design-Her outfit was inspired by a Duskull Gijinka which was something I planned on basing off a character for a while and thought who better than a young reaper based Magician . She wears red as I thought it would give her more of a reaper vibe plus wanted her stand out from the rest of her team, I did contemplate it representing her potentially being from another Magical Kingdom but changed my mind about it. I gave her the un even sock lengths to try and continue on my effort to make the Night Magician's a bit cute .
