Description Currently contemplating writing a Pirate Story (once I get through some of the stories on my to do list TuT), the concept will probably be the main character inheriting his fathers goal of finding a treasure he had dedicated his youth to searching for. The idea for was inspired by an anime intro song and a 2 second clip of some ships :3, I love the scene so much and it gets me excited every time I see it as it works with the song so well. The plan is to design 3 ships as for the story I want to have three protagonists with them each owning a ship and maybe have them switch out which one they use as different ship taking on certain tasks could be a fun theme to use. This ended up being more of a concept drawing as going for three ships at once is a bit of a big step for me so hopefully in the future I can do a more detailed version of this, the water was a fun effect to use though =^-^=.

I drew out the centre ship first and it took up a lot of room, in the future I'm hoping to work on scaling the ships down to fit more in the issue isΒ  I always worry about is the ship not being long enough. The one in the upper right corner is my favorite as I think the side shot shows off its features quite well and I like the cut off effect, I named it chest but had the t in the out of frame area to sort give it a mystery effect (Thoughts on Chest as a ship name? I feel it doesn't work but I'm curious to get other opinions). The upper left one is suppose to be a front view which felt a little weird but it reminded me of technical drawing in high school which was fun to try out here, didn't name this one though. The middle ship is called Kei as I was going for a name similar to Key , the flag has a chest symbol as I thought it would be a simple way of highlighting the pirates goal of treasure hunting :3. Originally I was only going to draw the water slightly around the bottom of the ships but as you can see I ended up committing more to the effect and I think it gives off a decent sea vibe .
