Description
Sakumi is a fire element warrior who uses two knives and her attacks are known as Inferno Bombs, Knife Dances and she is the best friend of protagonist Shaoki. I decided to re draw her as I feel drawings with her in this costume is outdated as when I first designed her she was super skinny o_o. Her backgrounds is basically she was chosen to be what is known as the Fire Guardian (basically giving her higher potential and a stronger aura flow than other fire warriors) but her older brother became bitter as he wanted the role. At first she struggled to defeat him due to being family but eventually Shaoki convinced her to fight him back as being a Guardian is about protecting Windoua's people. Eventually the two made up after their final battle as Sakumi told him she was still his brother, and later she won a tournament celebrating the uniting of the Dark Aura City.

When I first designed her I thought her having a half blue and half green shirt would be cool and the I decided the handles of each knife would be the opposite colour of the side of the shirt she held the knife in :3. She originally was not meant to be a fire based character as I hadn't yet come up with the Windoua idea but due to me making her hair red I decided she would take the role. I believe I made her trousers brown to have some colours that didn't match the green and blue colour scheme, I kind of like them as I think they give of a earth vibe and I like to imagine fire and earth being close elements. I might re draw her second costume as it has more details I just wanted to have a re draw since this costume has not been worked on in over a year.
