I found an image of her on an anime bedrooms page and felt like drawing her as I thought her hair and pyjamas looked cute and I think its been a while since the last time I drew pyjamas. I contemplated drawing a bed in the background but felt happy with her on her own plus I wanted to get out of the habit of doing backgrounds since I do prefer drawing characters on their own. The jacket had a sort of bright orange colour but I had no idea how to get the tone as I used a bunch of yellow and orange tones and even resorted to rubbing out the colour, I like the tone I got but it wasn't quite the original. Her hair had the sort of wider semi circle style edges but I struggle to draw that style also it looks shorter on the right side but I kind of like not showing the full hair length on one side of the body.

As mentioned Shimamura was from a bedroom image and I plan on drawing the bedroom on its own in the future as it has a poster and I thought that would be a fun decoration to try and draw .
