Description
Soren is honestly a tough character to describe, I guess the best way of putting it is he is Aris's antagonist as I currently don't plan on having him face Rina. Mask academy were originally going to be the antagonist but I decided I wanted them to be a school publicly supported by Kuzima when behind the scenes he is actually working with another called Hollow High. And after a tournament the relationship between Kuzima and Mask Academy will be ended as he was never loyal to them which will set up Soren's goal being to build up the reputation of his Zen Flow club from scratch. He was originally close friends with Aris but after joining the academy he felt he was superior to her but he still can't help but step in when she is in trouble and the plan is for other characters to try and exploit this.

I'm very happy with his ace's design as I tend to draw monsters in more of an energy like form but here it looks a bit more natural (not sure if that's the best way of putting it but it sounds right). I think Soren's outfit gives of a lightning like colour scheme just feel like its yet to grow on me as I probably envisioned his first outfit having more of a white colour scheme. Drawing his hair took many attempts and I almost settled on a few that I wasn't fond with but in the end I kept re drawing till I felt happy and I think it worked out really well. I went for a slight smile with him as he will be the type of guy who doesn't really show his emotions that often and I want his smile to be a magical moment for other characters .
