I wanted to draw this guy because I instantly fell in love with his boss battles as his voice and the boss theme are incredible (I have been obsessively listening since last night). He is a bird Lulua sees fly by twice but then you eventually need a feather from him which leads to an un winnable boss battle and him questioning what Lulua's goal is. Then on the chapter I'm on you have to fight him again as you need another feather but this time Lulua knows what her goal is and you have the emotionally party all agreeing to fight together scene. Ugh this part of the game is soooo good, I was a bit frustrated over the previous 2 chapters but this got me excited again as the build up to his second boss battle was amazing. I don't draw creatures that often let along boss monsters lol so it was nice to get into this idea also not been also this is the most passionate I have been about drawing in the past 2 weeks.

I decided to start with his head/neck as I wanted to make sure I could fit the entire design on on the page, I ended up not fitting his full tail in but I like the look of his tail and wings going off the paper. For the wings I was trying to match an image so didn't draw them around the same size but after colouring it I feel they match a bit better for some reason. The green tones look so cool and I think I was able to show off his design decently well, I was not going to re draw the outlines at first but I changed my mind which was the right fall as I feel it shows off his feathers really well. I felt I needed this drawing to get me fired up about drawing again :3 as committing to ideas has been a bit tough lately.
