There's only one problem....IT'S TOO GOOD!Β Excellent work! I love it.
A scene from story that I'm typing up. Fenix treating Shade to dinner as a sign of thanks at Banquet du Seigneur for having faith in him even while he wasn't himself, for saving him and to also gain intel on G.U.N. (Shade replaced Rouge after she fulfilled her obligation to the organisation and left to start her club). Shade however considers it as a date, as she has had a crush on him since he was still her superior and before discovering that he had fiancΓ© who wasΒ also her friend (his fiancΓ© died in the war with the Knuckles clan), so she has never acted on her feelings. As a tomboy and no place of her own, Shade has had to borrow the dress from Amy and feels a little embarrassed but also happy because of the company.
Even though in the story I flirt on the idea of putting the two together, it will be left as unobtainable but also hopeful in the first arc. While I may have no intention of pairing them off, I will leave it up to those that would like to see them together.

He is of the Nocturnus. Shade seemed a bit too 'clean' and didn't appear to be war weary. if she had faced the aliens in the Twilight Cage and fought the Knuckles clan herself, then those battles would have left their mark on her in one way or another. He has the scars that she doesn't and her 'honourable' view on combat is kept in tact.

She doesn't like killing her opponents an respects those that are strong. When she was in the service of Ix, she was appalled that she was helping to invade and conquer, instead of helping her clan to peacefully return to Mobius.
