Description
Ok guys, I'm working a new story, a sci-fi one, which is actually out of my comfort zone. So, basically, I'm going to attempt to make another series of shorts like my Mira Saga BUT with a different setting and all that jazz. Mira and her exploits are not finished, I just want another avenue to let my creativity flow from. So with that said, I will explain the basics of this...yet to be fully fucking named character. Oh and her face...I will probably redesign it ENTIRELY (like I did with Mira). I'm trying to make her not just be dark haired Mira, which, no lie, might be a challenge. Anyways, back to it.So the story will feature an anti-terrorist, interpol like organization in the future. This is our heroine. After a run in with one of the yet to be finalized villains, she's left in a coma and becomes a cyborg. I will explain her cybernetic stuff in detail here. First, her left arm and both legs (above the knee) are cybernetic. They have a metal skeleton inside, then a layer of "tendons", then a layer of "tissue." Thus, her limbs are waterproof. Second, notice her spine, due to her injuries, she has a cybernetic spine grafted to her back. Finally, her belly. Why is she pregnant? Well, the working story is while she's in the coma, the higher ups just decide to use her as a test subject for their bio-soldier experiment. Hence the belly now. More details to come (if I ever fucking figure this shit out).
I tried to go for a surprised or just dumbfounded facial expression. Like, she just wakes up, slides out of bed, notices the limbs, looks in the mirror, sees her belly. Let me know what you guys think. I want advice on her face too, should I retool it or keep it as it is? Ugh. Do you like the design of her limbs? Also, I tried to make her look a little shorter and thinner, like a little underweight due to her circumstances. If I get this story rolling, I will make another drawing with her FULL equipment and what not. Let me know what you guys think, gimme opinions. What do you think about the pregnancy idea? Also, is she too clean? Should she have scars? What? Let me know......

Since the body isn't otherwise scarred, I would infer (in the absence of details from the story) that she chose to have the artificial limbs installed to replace her natural limbs for the sake of their improved performance or such. If her own legs and arms were involuntarily destroyed by a traumatic event, I would think there might be other hints of that in the form of deep scars, burns or such on other parts of the body. (Then again, in my pictures I often suggest that nanobots of the future can heal such scars, but if such nanobots existed then why not just regrow the original limbs back? Also, I would think it would not be difficult to disguise these limbs with realistic artifical skin, which makes me wonder why they are left undisguised. Is it because she lives in a cyberpunk world where undisguised prostheses are common? Or perhaps the prostheses are left undisguised to intimidate enemies who would recognize the limbs as artificial? Or maybe the opposite; perhaps like in our modern world most prostheses are inferior to the original limbs, so enemies would be fooled into thinking she was weak when she really wasn't.)
Although pregnant ladies are your signature style (specifically this type of classic third-trimester belly), I would suggest that a brand-new character would be an opportunity to draw some flat bellies as well if only for the sake of variety. For example, maybe she isn't obviously pregnant at first and gets bigger later.

Nah, she did not choose to be a cyborg. More or less, her high ups saved her and figured "She's in a coma, let's just experiment on her." As for why the arms are obviously cybernetic, I wanted them that way. The outfit I have designed for her will hide most of her injuries but she will be going up against other cyborgs. I was thinking she might possess the newest style of limbs, where as an enemy might have limbs more like a skinless Terminator or like Darth Vader's limbs beneath his armor.
Bah, you speak madness when it comes to non-third trimester bellies! I don't even know what a flat belly is!!! All women look like this anyways!!! At least....I think. I don't get out much lol.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. Though I doubt anything more will become of this since I can't even figure out a name for this character.

Fascinating idea. I love me a food sci-fi story. I think her being scar-less is fine. If they can make advanced artificial replacements, they can remove scars. Her whole form looks great and I would love to see what cool future hijinks you can think up. I'd be happy to toss out some alien/mutant ideas for you.

Oh? Send me some ideas in a note, I'm open for things. I can bounce some ideas off you and let me know what you think, ok?
And I'm glad you like the design so far. Yeah, as for the scars, I want her to still be sexy and what not. I debated giving her some scaring around her robot limbs but that would be stupid. They would just cover that stuff up. It's not like she's Darth Vader and not only needs new limbs but has like no skin left lol.
