Sooooooooooooooooooooooo many people asked and asked for this....so......I'll give them what they want~~~!!!!! Here it is. I know its big....sorreh. This is the easiest way i could think of doing a tutorial. I tried using Flash but.... I forgot how to use it!!!! O______________O;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Sorry but this is only for Photoshop 7.0 users. There are plenty more to come. So hang on. These are hard to make!

also, this should work for any version of ps (i've tried 'em since 5.0 and everyone has this feature), and it even works under the gimp or psp

Personally I would switch using Brightness/Contrast for using Levels

I think that your tutorial is a very good starting point for helping people out. I like the layout you chose, and it is fine that you didn't make it in flash. It is easy to understand and it is good you get a little technical, but also show that you can judge for yourself how to use certain tools in PS. Good job! ^^

You're welcome. I think it is rather rude when people want feedback on how they are doing with certain things, and all you can get in return is "thatz liek soo awsumez0rz!!!" - in fact it is downright annoying. I think it is good to bear in mind that you are more or less writing and formatting them for the less experienced people who want to know how to do certain things with the programs they use, or they just want to know "how you do it" to compare to their own methods. Think of it "Runeechan's Art Methods for Dummies" - basic material but explained and slightly technical.

Hm, interesting. I take care of all of my outlining by tracing over with they polygonal lasso tool... needless to say, it eats up a lot of time.
I would use this to my advantage if my initial lineart wasn't so sketchy.

^_______^ Spiffy! Now i dont have to spend hours going over the sketch in a different layer ._.; I never was very efficiant. But, now i must get a good inking pen... i have no clue about them though XD any suggestions?

you can get any pens like at Michael's, Target, Walmart..... I LOVE to use pens with 0.3 width for regular lines. 0.31for thin lines (like for eyes or innerhair, smaller details) and 0.5 for the thicker outter lines. Some name brands are Uni and Pigma Micron really good ones!!!

hmm....the way I do it is to click 'file' then 'import' on the import list select YOUR scanner. It should then make you scan your work, and then you just save it and stuff. Tell me if that helps.

i may have spelt it wrong.. But yeah its a cheap disk my dad has it on his computer He thinks Photo shope is same as paint Thingie NO IT ISNT PHOTO SHOPE IS BETTER! Damn it!!!

He thinks its too hard for me to do .. Fucken a im 18 and ur little tip will help me cus i jsut want to clean up my characters and line art all that jazz.. And ur stuff is wonderfull.. Love it u have the same style as me expect its more cleaner... and i used south park and chibi style...
