Round 2 entry for !

This is a double battle against the first gym leaders, Michelle and Darryl, with 's trainer, Rown as my partner.

How our team matches:
Blaziken covers for Scizor's major weakness, and Scizor can defend Blaziken from any move that isn't fire-type.
Both have matching colors
Both stand on two legs

In a sense, the two will rely on each other heavily, which makes for some perfect team strategies. XD Such as in the picture here, Persian leaps into the sky to use a Dark Pulse aimed towards Blaziken, but Scizor intervenes and protects Blaziken by blocking the Dark Pulse and pushing it back with a well aimed Bullet Punch.

This lets Blaziken continue forward and get in to attack Granbull, who is using Bulk Up, with a Blaze Kick.

I hope things look festive enough. xD Balloons are used a lot during festivals right? /hopes so. Instead of just drawing the trainers off to the side, I drew them into the main shot as well, to show them standing back and commanding their Pokemon during the battle. Unfortunately, upon resizing the canvas, their smaller versions came out rather derpy looking OTL

I couldn't do as much with this as I wanted, I wanted to make things look 10x better than they do, but due to time constraints I didn't really get to. xD I hope it still looks good! Also I hope the damage Caine made to the ground with his stomp doesn't count as 'severe'. D:
