Oh look I actually managed to finish a picture of Talon for once, ahaha. I always stop halfway through them because I feel something is off about it <:C everything has to be perfect because he's my favorite champion/bbySo here have a Talon being overly grumpy or waiting on someone, you can make up your own story for that.
and my portrayal of the very outskirts of Noxus in the background might be weird, but that's how I see it at least

Btw, I don't want to talk like a wise guy or annoying smart little kid, but I think the reason why Talon is so hard to draw is his expression. He sure has some difficulties here with his cape-thing there, but I think really we can't draw him because we don't know him. In the lore, there's just something he did, not how he feels. Ingame, you just hear him talking about killing. In artwork or pictures, there's always his hood and he has this neutral face expression. I couldn't imagine any talk or discussion between him and anyone else, except if it's only about facts. But anymore than that seems to me impossible.
Long talk, short story(Sorry, I always talk a bit too much): Beautiful drawing and well done expression. (Let me know if you disagree, agree or want to enligthen me about your thougths.)

Yeah, I can agree in a sense. I run the askTalon blog on Tumblr, and when I first started it, I had no idea which direction to take his personality in. So I sat and I studied him a lot, and realized that his personality is going to essentially be like a kid that grew up without knowing what 'love' is, and he'll be a little naive on the subject. So naturally I don't think he had too much of a personality back then as a kid, other than feeling anger and being cold to everyone else. I think it was stated in one of the AMA's on the League forums that Talon isn't too talkative, and he doesn't say too much since he's not one for conversations.
I tried to keep that in mind when writing him, I guess. I also had a slight headcanon that when he got accepted into the Du Couteau household, General Du Couteau essentially became his 'father' and taught him a few things personality wise, so he grew from there. With the two Du Couteau siblings as his 'sisters' as well, he probably learned from them too. But that's just my headcanon, I know some might not agree on it and continue on with the whole 'he's still a cold jerk' type of personality. xD Which is fine too. ^^
Overall I just see him as being a cold, somewhat naive, quiet and reserved type of person, but he does have a good heart deep down. But, he can have a temper and be loud when he chooses to be. Maybe the type that, when he speaks, everyone else shuts up and listens because he doesn't do so often. ((ahkddkjh sorry this is so long LOL; I got kinda carried away ;; ))
