Description
"n she get teeths"
"n mom go and fight hoo-mahs"
"she never came back"
-----
I thought long and hard what criteria Ozcura might use to decide a child is old enough to be left alone. Teeth to eat solid food is the physical limit.
I have now colored the initial page draws! Progress from this point on will be at a post it when I draw it pace. I'm aiming for a-page-a-day - but! -Β could see it slipping to a two day draw-color rhythm - but! - previously I considered it progress if even one panel was drawn. I've never done anything like this before. Can't schedule an unknown production process.

Poor poor... Fat Unicorn.
It didn't deserved such horrible fate. v___v
Unlike Armbite's mom. Fighting for the Seven Demon Lords is a GLORIOUS PATH FOR ANY OZCURA TO FOLLOW.Β
-black humor joking, poor Armbite as well v__v -

I remembered Fat Unicorn was a recurring character/popular product in your art. I HAD to include him as an Easter Egg, when I get into a world, I'm obsessed with details like that. This is actually the same Fat Unicorn the littlest ozcurilla had in the family portrait, about a year or two's worth of wear later, (and the baby has been chewing on every ear, leg, tail that sticks out.) I could go on about how much dirt, scruff and rips my favorite stuffed animal got when I was a kid, all I had to imagine is what would he have looked like if no parents had been there to sew him back together each time.
Actually, the real question is how this poor Ozcura village even got a Fat Unicorn.
... Oh, no apologies necessary, most of my storytelling is spiced by black humor and irony. There's plenty more where that came from.
...
Phase 1 of My Evil Plan - success!! I was hoping you'd comment at some point, because, before long I'm going to have questions about Aiers... and If I remember, there is a chat? and a discord? but I don't remember where to find them, or if you visit them? or what is your preferred means of communication, anyway??
(Just so you know, I've spent a couple nights reading in the Wiki, hoping it's accurate, because while my characters don't know when and where this is, I need to know which battles she is walking into and how they play out. I didn't go into this with any definite ideas - I knew no more than my Ozcura - not even which War of Power this might even be!
I wanted a small battle (raid) on a village defended by peasants, then a "holy shit, gather the legions to meet them NOW" sudden forced march, leading to a major battle in open field.
With that in mind, if the Wiki is accurate, the First War of Power does this in the Second Half when the Elven expeditionary force arrives, and the Dark Legion scrambles to meet them in the Barlans region? 3 battles were listed - "Battle of the Cold Plains", "Battle of the Butr Bridge" and "Battle of the Desert" but no details. (This had the diabolical side-effect that maybe her Mom fought in the First Half of the War, when things went well for the Dark Legion, but Armbite grows up to fight the Second Half of the War, on the losing side.) That's as far as I got on my own, which is where I'd like some help. I'd rather be true to your world, than just make stuff up.)

Yeah, I guessed was the same Fat Unicorn!
There is a World of Aiers Chat and discord, and when I enter discord -can't from where I am this weekend- I will share the links, the chat link is this one:
chat.deviantart.com/chat/Worldβ¦
Normally I visit Discord during the weeks, and the chat in the weekends, because the available computers on weekends can't really hold discord v__v
The very presence of the Fat Unicorn -made up by a veteran of the First War of the Power- it's a sign this to be after the First War of the Power, as the tribal structure of the Ozcuras, would rather point out to me the Second War of the Power.
-thought if you prefeer, it can be during the First War of the Power, as only I would be the one to know, and the presence of the Fat Unicorn is considered only a cameo-
Between the First and Second War of the Power, there passed almost 200 hundred years. Before the first war of the power, Ozcuras were controlled much more directly by demon lords, and hadn't quite developed a tribal life and structure. The collapse of the Dark Legion and scathering of their former servants, resulted in the differentiation of the formerly largelly urban ozcuras into tribes, who then came to be under the rule of Remnants of the Dark legion, until the reunification of the Dark Legion in the early Second War of the Power.
If that's the case, one of the more active fronts for long was in Polforia itself, in it's northwest in the Hieyokscream bay, where hold out the Order of the Holy Sword of Nortender in a series of succesive campaigns.

Thank you! I've been dreading what sort of reply I might get - or not get.Β
"The very presence of the Fat Unicorn -made up by a veteran of the First War of the Power- it's a sign this to be after the First War of the Power, as the tribal structure of the Ozcuras, would rather point out to me the Second War of the Power."
"resulted in the differentiation of the formerly largelly urban ozcuras into tribes,"
-aaah, the things I did not know!
Ok. Let me get my thoughts in order.
My starting place, originally, was shiftingpunk's story where they just keep throwing spearmen (spear-ozcuras, I should say?) at the problem and the main character would be just one of many caught in the middle of events. I was imagining getting hit with arrows, running away, being forced back into fighting, repeat. I don't have an ending but that's enough to start telling a story.
Of course I didn't want to just tell the same story from a different side, but find some other battle in Aiers.
Nortender was one of my first ideas! ...but I worried they would be crusaders with a "Kill all the abominations" attitude. In recent art and stories of yours they take prisoners, and use Orcpeliers, which allows for the possibility of switching sides. (Do they become less fanatical and more practical over time? Because that would give a hint what era this might be.)
I should probably tell you, I was using this is a guide: (and praying it's not too out-of-date)
Mature Content
I was going to draw them as "classic" black stockings ozcura,
buuut, over time, I fell in love with the Jaguar Warrior-inspired ozcuras,
aaand it seems, if I'm reading this right, the Jaguar Ozcuras are the leaders of "Type-3" Ozcuras? (3rd from the left)
I love tribal stuff. Once that temptation was on the table, I was doomed to go there! I did war in my brain between these being black stockings ozcura in a breeding area ruled by demons, and tribal ozcura. There were no drawings I could see of ozcura that closely dominated by demons, so eventually I imagined Orc culture as interpreted by the Ozcura personality.
Logically, wherever Armbite's village is, the Loranor have be an enemy, to get the jaguar skins. (...might these be Ozcuras of Morod?)
I hope I haven't bothered you too much! Β
