This is Rubar, he's a male cardinal who was born with a female's plumage. He's fond of abandoned children and these chinese lantern things that actually glow.sorry for the big bird kick guys.

The style of this one reminds me a bit of Mouse Guard. It has this old, fairytale like vibe to it. Like it's supposed to be in a quiet forest.

I do very much like the colors and tone of this. Definite presence, but at the same time very subtle. The circle also helps to give it just the right amount of light.
