My piece of light armor. Custom-made by a tailor in foreign land.
Hardened leather gauntlets and shoulder pads
Over a black robe with hardened leather shoulder pads attached
Over a hardened leather vest
Over a [probably white or blue] shirt
Over a suit of chainmail.
Need we more layers?
The strap on my torso holds the sword's scabbard, and keeps the robe from opening with the wind...
Yes, it's a real problem I have to address
