I started this in January and worked on it about a month before forgetting about it. Picked it back up in March 18 and finished it yesterday. Worked about an hour a day so that would make it... around 46 hours of work more or less.Β 46 hours and I couldn't even get the background to look decent. How does i arts with mouse?Journey is one of my most favorite games ever. It's so beautiful. If you ever get a chance to play it you totally should. Even better if you have online connection so you get to play with another person.Β
The embroidery on the robe was supposed to look the way it does the second time you play through, but it was starting to look too cluttered and i couldn't get it to look right, so I left it like that. I also like to think that when you pass by those tombstone things then it would give off a chirp like you can. And i chose that symbol because that was the symbol I got the first time I played.

I'm glad you think it's in tune with the style and colors of the game. ;A; I had a hard time with that and i kept thinking "oh no it's too red/brown/warm/everything." And it might be but I dunno.
But thank you! Doing this with a mouse hurt my wrist a bit, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. NO PAIN NO GAINN. (i don't think I'd try it again though.)

That's a very decent picture you've drawn, especially with a mouse. With the colour scheme, you can really feel the warmth exuding from the picture.

I like it, great job. The background isn't very detailed, but it gets the mood across and doesn't compete with the middleground.

ahhh I love Journey <3 Haven't played it for a couple of years or so, however...
yeah, the online is pretty good, huh? Because of that, I was able to get the white cloak.<3
anyway, this is really pretty~kinda looks like watercolor... what program(s) did you use?

And I used Sai then went over to Gimp to add a noise filter thing to give it a slight grainy-ish look and to put the watermark.
