new character i named him Larkspur

about 2 and a half hours on this one. practicing more backgrounds c: i wanted to go for a "it's almost sunset and it's cloudy overcast" look. i think at this point i'm in a more sketchy/concept phase with backgrounds just so i can get the main idea down and to get used to doing them, but i do quite like the sketchy feel to them.
