you create set points. Make the cloth add the colider. And press play on the timeline.

The best way to do it is attach a clothide tag onto a plane. "Your Towel" Go into the properties of that tag and in the expert tab tick "Self collision.
Go to frame 1 and press play. Depending on your height and variables depends at the rate your towel will fall or wrap around any object with the tag "Collider".
Also if u want a piece of the cloth or towel to be permanantly stuck or the rest of the towel to hand from it. Highlight the polygons or vertices of the object would like. Then attach the "Clothide" tag on top and go to the Dresser" Tab. Press the button "Set" and you should see the vertices / polys turn purple. Go to frame 1 and press play to have it animate (Adjust to gravite as i like to think of it)
At any time u can pause the animation and keep its set position. If u go bak to frame 1 it will reset. So the best thing to do is when u find the position u want copy the object. Hide the copy (Backup) and delete the clothide tag from the other one.
If u want any more detail or help just ask me and ill be sure to help.
