I finally have an idea of how to present the infected.

Level of intellect - depends on the state, more often it is medium
Level of aggression - extremely high
Danger level - extremely high

Corrupted - general name for creatures infected with dark energy.
Extremely dangerous and fast things, they are also difficult to exterminate due to their survivability. Because of their dark energy damage, they are almost immune to pain, have an increased skeletal strength, and in general are superior to healthy members of their own species in strength. They may look skinny but are in fact very strong. Despite the infection, they retain some of the intelligence, can ambush, as well as act in groups.
Some who had an energy of their own before becoming infected can become energy eaters and absorb other creatures' energy.(posing an increased danger)
They are common in the Fallen City, but sometimes found outside of it.
