I haven't played it for too long yet but its been fun so far. You play as a bug exploring a ruined kingdom. It has a good atmosphere and art style. You definitely want to be cautious during fights. You use enemy souls to charge your mask in order to heal up to 4 times. If you die you lose a charge. I don't know if that loss is permanent or if you can get it back somehow. There's a bit of back tracking since both the shop and save point are at the start. I think there's traveling merchants and other save points though, I just haven't found them yet. I've seen people compare it to Dark Souls and Megaman so if you like either of those you'll like this.

Same. I got mad once I realized that dying messes with your healing ability. Now I'm super cautious everywhere.

I hadn't died two time in a row the whole time I was playing and then I died 4 times in a row
all thanks to those stupid spikes and water
