I would like to use this image in my Christmas cards this year, but DA has a terrible lag time between order and delivery even if you made tis available in their store.Β Β

Sooo lovely! I really enjoy the atmospheric images you create, and the vibrant colours you use. I can only admire the beauty you have achieved.
Do you take suggestions? If so I would like to challenge you; can you create something mild? Like a foggy morning or rain. Something involving the cool tranquility of grey tones, with slight hints of blue and green. I can see that your comfort zone lies with incredibly intense colours and stark contrasts. I would like to see what would happen if you tried creating something... moodier.

but if you take a way the focus from the tree, t his picture is exactly what you described. it looks more foggy and with less contrast but instead moody

Yes, true. I can't quite explain what I meant, and I was exactly thinking of something that has little to no focus. No intensely bright light sources or colours. This picture for example is leaning heavily on the blue scale, and I was talking about something way more neutral.
You are right though, the picture does come pretty close to what I described, but it still falls within the boundaries of the aforementioned comfort zone
