I'm actually really, really pleased with how these all turned out! I learned a lot about other styles as well as how to improve my own. I'm actually working on revamping my style, and I'm taking a leaf out of these artists' books, adding more floof to the cheeks and making the eyes bigger.
Again, I think my most successful was PaintedSerenity's style, and actually, after doing the digital version, I'm really pleased with my imitation of ColaCatintheHat's style. Also again, I couldn't quite get a hold on CascadingSerenity's style. Seems like only she can pull off her style!
I didn't do any shading, other than a teeny tiny shade on the muzzle and underneath the head floof of Euca's style. After spending 4+ hours shading my own piece, I kinda gave up. I late went back and smoothed mine out to get rid of the shading to match the rest. Interestingly, Painted's style took less than an hour, and that is a godsend when I have nine styles to complete.
This was really, really fun, and I'd love to do another style challenge in the future with a different character, maybe looking at Jaystar, Zackaree, perhaps iwillbringyoudown.
