3. LightHe woke up to the feel of faint sunlight on his eyes, and so blinked them open, slowly. In the depths of his den, he lifted his head and stared at the beams of sunlight that peered through the ferns covering the opening. He flicked an ear once, and got to his feet, still heavy with sleep. He paced across the earthen tunnel, and set his feet on the red stone outside the entrance. Squinting against the sunlight, he let his eyes adjust, and the world opened up around him, lush and green and fertile.

Third part of the 100 Picture Challenge, FINALLY! I actually did this in the fall, but I didn't think about putting it up until today. Derpderp.
This is Denahi, main character of my comic (which I swear you'll start seeing updates of SOON) Seeds of Denial. He is a wolf, yes. Because I like them and have since I was FIVE, thanks. -3-

Done over several hours with Photoshop CS5 and my (dearly departed, weep! ...until I get a new pen!) Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.

This is a very cool picture.
I love the Sunlight pouring into the space. It draws me in and makes me want to go see what is outside the cave.
Another cool portion i like is the cave walls and floors themselves. I have been in a few cave and these walls take me back to them. They give a feel like you could actually feel there texture if you wan your hand across them.
The Wolf is well drawn and the shading is really good. However I feel like he is just floating in space the cave floor and wall do not give the appearance that he actually is making contact with them. In truth is seams like he is almost two feet off the cave floor.
Over All I really like this picture and think you did an excellent Job on it.
