I recentley played through all of Half-life 2 and then Episodes 1 and 2 afterwards. (I kinda needed the data for my Garry's Mod stuff...) I gotta say that I really liked some of the environments in HL2:E2, and I was inspired to make this picture after one of my favorite open spaces in the game, the riverbed where you race Dog up to the White Forest missile base. This is my first Gmod Shot that uses the post-production effects the program offers. (namely the depth-of-field effect for the background.)

I wanted to do something Zelda-Related, since I haven't done much Zelda stuff in awhile. With the announcement of "Spirit Tracks" at GDC, it's very much possible that a new Zelda game for the Wii will be announced at E3. That alone gets me excited for what new stuff may be 'round the bend...and so I was inspired to do this picture. This kinda scene is what I'd love to see in a future title.
