Goku was away at the Griffia University for several months taking classes and doing trials to better prepare himself for the day his little sprout arrived. He was pretty good at sending Hirota letters on his progress which the Kingfisher Bagbean very much appreciated. He remained at home feeling about as anxious as his son felt, perhaps even more so. He still felt much to young for his son to be having a sprout of his own, but he tried to tell himself that the RNG God and the spirits that governed the Time Trees knew what they were doing when they blessed Goku with a Love Bean.

He had just finished going through his own home for the fifth time to ensure that it was sprout proof. The sprout was due any day now, as long as it’s blooming time was the same as it was for Goku, so he had to make sure. He heard the door open and close and he strained his ears to figure out who it was since Jacques and Cole both had a habit of bursting in unannounced.

“Hey Dad, I’m home!!” Goku’s voice called out.

Hiro perked up instantly, Goku was home. Hiro put down some of the items he was moving out of reach and went into the main room where Goku was setting his stuff down. “Welcome home Goku! Did you enjoy your classes.”

Goku turned his head to face him and grinned. “Yup! I learned a lot and even made a new friend.” He grinned even wider. “Hey Dad, I have someone I want you to meet.” He turned fully to Hiro and held out a little poof ball of white and brown fur. Large blue eyes looked up at Hiro and he instantly felt his heart melt. Hiro took the small sprout from Goku and held him close in wonder. “He’s adorable…”

“Heheh Yup he is! I named him Wuhan!” Goku beamed happily.

Hirota felt tears of joy running down his cheeks, and all his anxiety about being a grandpa bean flew away. “Hello little one. I am your Papa Hiro. Welcome to the family.”

Wuhan reached up to pat Hiro’s nose and giggled.

“Aw…he likes you Dad.” Goku cheered.
