I don't like to jump on bandwagons or causes, but I see enough of the Derpy Debate on my dash on my tumblr to justify getting with this one.I've always loved the Derpy character; she's adorable and just too funny not to. But saying that she's an insult to mentally handicapped people is ridiculous, and the amount of turmoil this thought has caused is as well. Both of my younger siblings suffer mental handicaps, and neither of them were offended. My mother, who is involved in several mental handicapped organizations, wasn't offended either. She loves Derpy just as much as me, and she doesn't even know the show.
So, please, don't get rid of Derpy. The show just wouldn't be the same without her.

Derpy is a beautiful strange....thing
she's amazing....and fans helped pick her name...afterall she was originally Ditzy Doo right? so fans can't complain about her name...and not including her in the show is kinda offensive too... I mean mentally-handicapped people (who derpy didn't even remind me of anyway) do actually exist world...
