The most fun (and vile) thing to throw at a evil charactor... the cursed item Helm of Opposite Alignment; CE becomes LG, LE becomes CG, and NE becomes NG. Curses are fun to throw once characters gain enough power... Β

That's the worst thing to throw at ANY character; especially divine casters. On the bright side, most casters tend to have extremely good Will saves, but still. That thing...

Tbh, depends on the party; at one point I had a player (fighter class) that took one so his party didn't kill him for being a dick.

He had come to me asking for ways to continue playing that specific character, and i listed that as the fastest in all honesty; a Good party has no reason to kill a Good member.

Honestly, Sapphire would be utterly repulsed at the idea, even voluntarily. And it's very possible for two good people two be at odds with each other or even fight to the death.

It was me as a GM trying to give a new-ish player a "logical" reset button. He liked the class and the physical aspects but didn't like all the fighting that he was causing by playing in character. It was voluntary by player, not character.
