Nice work Jezzy,
I've just got back into drawing myself so I feel ya about proportions and shading.
I think deciding whether or not to ink lines or smudge shading is dependent on what kind of look you're going for.
Personally I like this dragon, it looks a little cartoony with the inked lines bit I like cartoons if you look at my gallery [link] or favorites

Good job, keep it up

Hey! for a second dragon, that stuff is AWESOME!

Might wanna try a bigger wingspan, though, for proportion's sake. unless his wings are supposed to be that way, then I apologise.

Yeah Im still gettin the hang of proportions and whatnot, guess its just gonna take alot of actually drawing them to get the hang of it. But i appreciate the advice very much indeed

I personally hate inking... hardly ever do it meself. Well done on you!

Have you ever tried using a smudge stick?? (looks like a slightly-illegal smokable object that you reallllly don't want to have to explain that "you're an artist and it's a tool!!" to the authorities who don't have pencils and paper around to demonstrate!!)

It will make blending and shading phenomenally better and more polished.

Keep up the good work!

Thaks very much.
Yep i kinda felt like the shading could have been a bit better as well. More drawing and practise is what its gonna take i suppose
