If I ever get around to actually doing the comic I have in mind it'll explain his backstory in one of the chapters, so hopefully I can get to that soon
As for when Onimaru is set loose I could probably add that in the artist comment area but it's nothing too extravagent. He usually either pops out when Mareo is losing a battle or when Mareo is experiencing some severe mental stress. However he can also pop out pretty much whenever he feels like

However it's probably going to be a little wierd since my character doesn't have very much knowledge about history which probably leaves him at a disadvantage against most others :*D
