Thanks. She was born in Poland in 1888 (which gives you a clue as to how old I am). Her dad was sent to Siberia as a dissident against the Russians. . . She grew up in an orphanage. Don't know where in Poland. But I grew up with Polish being spoken in my home - though I never learnt any unfortunately.

Oh I see, my grandfatjer was also sent to Syberia... And as far as Polish language is concered belive me it's very difficult even I have problems with it
