Ooo, suomalaista Ruohometsän kansa-fanarttia! Ihanaa!!! <3 Tuo Viikka sopii loistavasti tuohon kuolleen veljensä viereen. Se olisi voinut käydä hyvin elokuvaankin, vaikka elokuvan lopusta tulikin kaunis ilman Viikkaakin. Mahtavaa jälkeä. Tausta varsinkin on tehty hienosti.

Mahtavaa! *respect*

They look more like hares than rabbits here (or at least Fiver does), but it is still a very good drawing.

I was actually baffled by this after several readings as rabbits cannot count past five(Fiver) and yet they often mention a thousand. Which is so much higher than the number they can count to. I suppose it's due to story telling, but obviously there's more than "the thousand" dead after all this time and since they cannot count higher than five and don't know anything beyond "one-thousand" they just use it as ambiguous unknown number in their phrases.

It's been ages since I've read either of the books, but if I remember correctly, hrair was the word for any number greater than five, usually broadly meaning "many", but translated to one thousand (such as in El-Ahrairah, which translated to Prince With A Thousand Enemies). I think they may have substituted "the Thousand" because it sounds a bit better in the sentence than "the Hrair" would... but even then, "the Many" probably would have fit best. Not entirely sure, though xD
Anyway, I love this picture! The colors and style are great; the long legs, ears, and square muzzle make Hazel look more like a hare than a rabbit, though.

Thank you so much!
Yeah, it kinda is. Luckily we know that there's afterlife in Richard Adams's bunny world, so death is not an absolute end(thinking it this way comforts me at least haha ;__; ).

Yea me too, so I can think I will see my pets again... ;w;
And I like to think that when your pet dies it's not that sad cos' it will see it's parents and maybe siblings again.. =,3
