Not my best piece of work... but the idea, I loved toying with.

It came to me thru a Zutara story about how Aang and Katara were married, but going through a rough patch in their marriage (which, my guess is, led either to a divorce, an affair with Zuko, or both). So, my initial response was to write a fanfic going in the opposite direction:

Katara has been married to Zuko for over three years (not Prince Zuko - just plain old Zuko). But, for the last few months, they haven't been talking with each other for a while, and Zuko is spending less time with Katara. She finds out he's been having an affair with an old flame, but according to law she can't file for divorce - only the husband can, so she's got to find a way to make Zuko divorce her. Thus she turns to Aang, torn by his feelings for her and his responsibilities as a monk. And Sokka's involved in the whole schpeal as well, especially with Katara trying to get this divorce...

I'm having second thoughts about actually writing it. I might, but I'll see how time and schoolwork permits.

Still, I don't think the picture looks quite right. Aang's head is too big, I know that. Zuko looks really good. Katara looks okay; she looks too much like a cross between a haggard housewife and a floozy. I Aang's costume! As soon as I get more practice with drawing him older, I have to draw him more often.
