Meh, I was sketching the body, and thought, "... Yeah, that'll do." So partially because I'm lazy, and partially because it looks good as is.

Anyway... the anthro version of Hannibal the meerkat, of "Meerkat Manor." He's the kind of bad guy you love to hate. I mean, look at that scar! If that doesn't say "evil and cool," I don't know what does.

Also, notice the collar. Unlike other meerkat mobs, which are traditionally run by the dominant female, the Commandos are mostly run by Hannibal, the dominant male. His mate, Nikita, doesn't have a radio collar, attached so that their movements can be tracked. So that collar is a statement of power; he calls the shots.

Unfortunately, because I can't find any pictures of Hannibal or most of the other non-Whiskers meerkats, the layout of his fur is traditional for now. I'll add details as soon as I can find them...
