Of the few people I actually draw and submit, it had to be Steve Irwin, "Crocodile Hunter." But what can I say? Special occasion.
A stand-alone sketch of Steve, and there's a reason he's in that particular pose. I have a more elaborate tribute piece in mind, and this is the centerpiece.
Overall, I'm glad with out it came out. His legs look awkward, especially the left one, but I'm hoping that won't catch too much attention when the whole piece is done. I know, you can't see the feet either... shut up. It's fine!
This is only (maybe) half the actual drawing I plan to do... and that's not counting the outlines and colors!
But, it will be worth it.
If it comes out reasonably well, I might send a copy to Terri and the kids (Steve's family). Hope you like what I have so far. I'll work on the rest this week, probably tomorrow...

That's pretty good... it's pretty sad what happened, I mean, you only get SO MANY chances, but that is an extremely strange way to go. It was only a matter of time, but the world mourns his loss! ((Being a large Crocdile Hunter fan myself, I'm felling it!))

I think she'll love it, no matter what, it going to be hard. I feel sad for her and the kid how bad is that not ever getting to know their own dad now that is died, it really sad I wish I could do something too
