Description

In my fanfic, Sammy and the Bare Bears, when Jasmine, Shawn, and their friends stumble into the Land of Tar and Ice, they will meet some fearsome (and terrifying) beasts. however, they will also meet up with friendlier creatures. Some would be a trio of female Columbian mammoths that are in the search of their herd they got separated from. Second one up is Kala, sister of Macheeba and mother of Maya. Kala cares a lot about her family, especially her daughter, Maya. Kala is always there to protect her, but also tries her best to help her come out of her shell. When Jasmine and Shawn's group come into the scene, Kala was quite curious about them (since none of the mammoths have ever encountered humans before). But as Ella and Dawn help Maya become more confident, Kala couldn't be more grateful and decides that any friend of her daughter is a friend of hers.

I based her on one of the wild elephants I encountered back in South Africa (as for the name, it was just a last minute thing, but I named her after Tarzan's (adoptive) mother).
