It takes a look into what the show could be like outside of just a religious audience (by removing religious messaging altogether) set in the present day, without getting rid of it's moral-of-the-story ethics. Subject matter is more in tune to what Gen Alpha expects in their programming, focusing on equality, activism, mental health, and what was else-wise considered "taboo" subjects in the 90s, with a fun plot driven lore that explains more about McGee's existence and Nick's ability to make drawings come to life.
