Why thank you. It just takes tons of practice. I've easily spent 1/4 of a year of my life in photoshop, if not more, heh. And look, all that work and I'm only at this level. It's a difficult and amazing program, heh.

Good luck with your artwork.

its cool your going for heavily manipulated work. with six pictures especially, quite difficult to have all sections communicate with one another.

i spent forever trying to figure out the flames on the girls back. wow. they're clouds!

this piece calls for a lot of attention to the lighting..being high contrast and all. Bold colors too...lighting is really important. for the most part, the lighting is consistent. some inconsistancy with the candles not emitting light ont he walls and such, but it doesnt seem like anything major. i like how the girl is dark and siolleted (cant spell for shit)

our icy lover seems a bit out of place. now, i realize you wanted to keep him cool to contrast her and her surroundings. clearly, he is out of his enviornment...and i think that is what you are going for. (unless im wrong, which i could be.) he can still be alien but blend in with the surroundings. i think some warm-toned light reflecting on his skin (the candle light) would make the pale lover more harmonious with the piece.

and, its cool that his highlights are consistent with the lighting of the enviornment.

i like it though, i wouldnt have spent this much time if i didnt like it.

tah!

thanks alot. I very much appreciate the effort put into your comment. So rarely do I hear things so useful. And I see what you mean, with the different various lighting issues. If I ever feel like messing with this again, I'll certainly pay more attention to that.

Where did you get your icon? I like it.

ooo, that's wonderful. I've been wanting to go for a few weeks now, but I can't seem to find the company to...accompany me.

And I think it's a fantastic job. simple, but neat. Flows quite nicely for what it is, too.
