yeah, i put this as my shell32.dll, and none of the colors changed. But i know that your shell32.dll is still active because i previously had a modded one on there that changed something else, and that is back to it's original. So it's not that yours isn't loaded, it's that yours doesn't change the colors on my computer. And yes i have 32 bit.

.Theme first
.msstyle files can be edited with resources editors, i use resources hacker, restorator 2007 and resource tuner 2007, i think they're the best, do you think the same

Right click the theme.exe and choose to open as a notepad. then you can edit the name & path you want.
And edit a .msstyle Restorator 2007 are ok but resource tuner is not good. if possible buy style builder --> [link]

Nope, that style builder work only for vista & 7.
For xp you can use TGT xp style builder .
