Description She's almost to the end. The game's almost over. All she needs to do is step on that plate and playtime is finished. Childhood is finished. As she rounds the corner in her pretty dress, she stops and looks back at everything that she'd be leaving behind--surveys the clouds, the vast sky, and the green green grass. Third base looks so far away from here. How did she get to the end so quickly? She hesitates, feeling the sun on her skin. She's not sure she wants it to be over. She doesn't know if she ever wants it to be over.

Her brother said he was going to take home plate with him. She doesn't know if she likes that idea either. She doesn't even know if she understands what he means. This whole game business is very confusing.

It's over... You don't need to tell me. I've got no distance left to run. - Blur

[Edit: Dec 4th] Thanks go to the wonderful =Iamwiley for teaching me how to adjust the levels.

I totally agree! I don't know how to lighten it without losing the midtones or making it look washed out, though. Any suggestions?

I do, and that would be wonderful! I haven't played much with levels, so anything beyond adjusting the master levels leave me a bit blank.

I'm on AIM as Dream Murmurs.

ah very nice...like you said..it always seems to be a little dark...but that could just be my screen. Name color correction...i need it. Ok. The composition is nice. with the 3rd baseline extending away. Not being able to see the faces of the children is nice because you can relate them to being anyone's. Such a clear image too...good job..the only bad this is i can see the building in the background. I would seem more mysical if i couldn't see those...but those are hard to delete sometimes....

p.s. where in duluth is there...

This photo actually is dark. My camera was set for -2 stops and I didn't realize it.

Yeah, now that I look I see that there are 2 buildings and a school bus. I didn't really pay attention to them before. Hm. I bet I could edit those out, but then I come up against the "moral photographer issue" of how much editing it too much? I still don't know.

This image is in Superior actually. At a community center at the end of a long road. I don't remember the name of the place though. I was one my cuz's wedding reception. A little tip for you: If you take any of my newer photos into PS, you can go up to the file menu and click on "file info." That's where I list a copyright and more information on the photo. Usually I list where the photo was taken. You can do the same thing for your own photos too.

What do you mean by name colour correction? Are you saying that you want me to give you suggestions?

I'm still confused. If the colour on the screen is true to what prints out, then what's the problem?
