Great work! I love the traditional/academic-y feel to it : D Did you make your own brushes/textures for this?

Hey thanks a lot, yeah that was my goal from this study. I used various brushes from the collection that I have, all from here and there but the main one that you see on the bottom of all portraits I did is the one I created

Stunning work! I really admire your use of textures in digital painting. Very natural - in no way feels artificial or forced. Your colours are fantastic too. Very classical!

You are indeed!Β
My initial reaction to this was thinking it'd be something I'd find in the Skagen gallery in Denmark, where a lot of studies similar to this are collected from the so-called "Skagen painters". Worth checking out if you ever go to Denmark.Β
It's an awesome gallery with painting from many great Romanticists.Β

Yes I added it to the list of places that I should visit. honestly I should relocate, there is no history here in the UAE no classical art, its very commercial. I had this feeling of belonging when I visited Brussels and Florance

Could be worth a try. But I figure work for an artist, however commercial, is more booming in a place like the UAE. Europeans have this issue with paying for art, unless you work for a video game company or similar.Β
