This picture looks great.
I love the dark colors and the burst of light.
I strangely reminds me of a tree they used to hang people from... you can see it when you pass it by the highway.

trying something different seems to work pretty well for you...

...And different is beautiful. This is just stunning; you should offer it as a print.
PS: Love the title by the way! Not only is it befitting, but it makes me want to read through my mythology books again.

my pleasure. oh, where do you offer prints?

SaintSazzle In reply to LAPoetry-n-Photo [2009-02-04 02:51:34 +0000 UTC]
nowhere haven't had many that was interested, so I haven't cared to figure something out. all I know is that if I sell prints here I get close to jack shit for it.

Oh. *sob* I bet there are people interested, they're just too lazy to let you know. I suffer that sometimes, and figure if the person wanted to sell it as a print they just would. But you're right, the profits on this site aren't good.

how come its called aether?
Are you a physics student or something?

SaintSazzle In reply to almostexpelled [2008-07-07 13:46:00 +0000 UTC]
"The word aether (ฮฑแผฐฮธฮฎฯ in Homeric Greek means "pure, fresh air" or "clear sky", imagined in Greek mythology to be the pure essence where the gods lived and which they breathed, analogous to the aer breathed by mortals (also personified as a deity, Aether, the son of Erebus and Nyx)."

oh right, sorry!
In physics the aether (has since been disproved - it doesnt exist) was supposed to be the only fixed frame of reference that everything else in the universe travelled through.

Did you purposely name it aether? Because Aether was the Roman or Greek God of Light.
