SAI Trial/In English: [link]
Where to Buy Sai: [link]
Paypal NEEDED! to buy SAI
Cost: roughly $65 USD at the current Exchange rate.
this Is how I Make Vector Line Arts in SAI, it's not the right way or the best way it's just my way. I Spell bad, and I'm not always clear, so tell me if it's hard to understand.
ALSO, IDGAF how you draw, or line art, or if your way is better, ect. Don't tell me what to do. Like i said this is just how I do it.

I can't tell you how utterly helpful this tutorial was. I never understood how people could make such clean lines, especially because I have really shaky hands. Then I found this tutorial.
Thank you so much for posting this ♥ I always hated doing outlines, but with this, it got a whole lot easier and it isn't so frustrating anymore.
You also have pretty art *watches you now*

I'm wondering where you got a version of Sai that has the vector tool. I recently bought Sai, (within the last three months) and it has no vector tool.

did you create a vector layer first? it only shows the vector tools if you create a vector layer.

I'm not even certain how to create a vector layer, when creating a new layer the only options it gives me "New Layer" and "New Linework Layer". That's why I was curious about the apparent differences between your program and mine when it 'shoud' be the same thing.

Did you even read the tutorial then? first thing listed was the button to press to create a vector layer symbols are the same regardless of what yours translates it as, there are two different translation patches after all. =__=;; it's just a different translation i don't know where people are getting the weird translation but linework layer should be a vector layer.

so I did, so I did. Thanks for telling me, I'm surprised that after two years your the only one to catch that. I'll fix it... I want to say around June 15th, but maybe sooner if I feel like procrastinating on my art projects.

Can you please tell me how can I add the " Curve " tool and the "Edit" tool?

Haha.. I made a quick diagram just to answer your question :3 If you still haven't figured it out.
[link]
The curve and edit tool don't show up in the usual tool menu so..
You have to create a "Linework" layer and while working on that layer, you can use the tools for creating lineart (e.g., curve and edit). :3

Uhmm, my SAI doesn't have Move when I click Edit..
It comes up with a list of different actions, but not Move.
Do you know what I'd use instead?;
- Select/Deselect
- Translate CP
- Deform Stroke
- Delete CP/Click Curve
- Deform Anchor ON/OFF
- Translate Stroke
- Stroke Dup/Translate
- Combine Strokes
- Delete Stroke
- Pointed/Rounded
There are a few that might be it, but I'm not sure... ;<
Thankyou for the awesome tutorial though! It really helped!!
