Evolution: Ponyta-->(Lv 40) Rapidash-->(Lava Stone) Pegasus
Description:
A newly discovered evolution of the Ponyta and Rapidash breeds, Rapidash have been discovered to evolve using Lava Stones, when a trainer riding his Rapidash through a valley of dormant volcano's came across the Lava stone when his Rapidash stepped on it, causing Rapidash's body to grow a foot taller than normal, and its horn to also lengthen and sharper at the end, as well as sprout wings on their backs, enabling them to fly through the air, as well as its mane and tail growing longer as flames spread further along its body.

Pegasus are considered harder to catch in the wild than it's earlier evolutions, unless you are a skilled trainer and have earned their respect. They are often seen as leaders of their herds of wild Ponyta's and Rapidash's and will fight to protect its members from outsiders.

Pokédex Entry:
Seen soaring through the air, they are often mistaken as shooting stars because of the trail of flames they leave behind as they cross the night sky. Pegasus are loyal companions to any trainer that it trusts, and will carry a trainer in need of help to safety.
