Meet Duke, the newest in the stock herd. He is a gelding of unknown heritage, (AKA an unregistered, unpapered mixed breed) though he obviously is a Pinto with some amount of draft blood._____________________________________

Maybe he is a tinker horse also known as a Gypsy Vanner? They have that pattering and they have a draft horse build but I think they are shorter than most other draft horses like shire or clydesdales.Β I have a model of a tinker stallion that looks almost exactly like that.

Gypsy Vanner would be a good guess, but with his size and lighter leg feathering I think he is probably just a draft cross. Vanners also fetch a pretty penny and so it would seem rare that one would end up selling at an auction as a grade horse for a low amount as ol' Duke did. Β My guess is he is a Belgian and Paint cross. Β Perhaps that could be a "poor man's tinker horse"!
