There's always the naiivity-driven, blind pride that comes with discovering a new identity for yourself. Especially when you're young.
Reminds me of when I came out as non religious years ago and suddenly anyone who actually followed a religion seemed silly and "beneath me"
But with maturity comes clarity, and with clarity comes that "to each their own" mentality. Or at least it should haha
I feel like cedar is on the path to learning alot here soon...

I like how "animalistic" your Pokémon societies feel, not too human. That's an aspect I kinda miss in many other Mystery Dungeon comics.

You're definitely doing a good job! Your comic kinda has the atmosphere of those classic children's books with talking animals, but of course it's much more complex and mature. I think this special atmosphere is one of the things I love the most about FYR!

This has been on my reading list for a while, but I finally sat down and started this comic.
I was hooked so, so quickly, it has a really charming presence and art style! Cedar is a great character, so good natured and lovable but not without fault. Her character flaws have great synergy with her strengths, and that makes her really believable and engaging. And I'm so excited for the mystery of the egg to be revealed! Will definitely be following from now on!

Cedar, I get your excited to meat other euthens, and that you may not have had the best experience with some elamentols in the past, but I think it's worth remembering that not only did you used to be a pure elamentol, and still are half elamentol, not to mencon that calling elamentol's dumb is extremely offensive to elamentols, including the nice ones!

I just realized Cedar is doing exactly the same thing those bullies back in Littleroot were doing to her. They thought earthens were dumb or "burrowers"...
