Increase the scale a bunch, and this is what our parents saw when I came back. Though I was barefoot, of course.

To excessive levels, no less. Unfortunately, there is no way to shrink down, so the more exercise she gets - or simply walking from place to place - will result in further enlargement whether she wishes it or not. Luckily though, being gigantic has recently become the latest fad, so there's no real reason to not enjoy the benefits of growth.

She grows double if she tries walking backwards, silly girl trying to reverse it. Exactly the fad is quite popular, enjoy yourself .

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 05:00:10 +0000 UTC]

You would think walking backwards would have some sort of unique effect, and it does: Double the size boost for attempting to reverse the process. Pretty much her body's way of saying "There's no going back. The only way to go now is up!"

Indeed it has been. The whole "Bigger is better!" craze sweeping the planet and all...It's a surprise that she's not trying to get as big as she possibly can!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 05:04:45 +0000 UTC]

Well this is all new to her, she must accept the fact subconsciously she wants this. After awhile she will come to terms with it and go for a nice loooong walk....backwards, as quickly as possible.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 05:12:45 +0000 UTC]

An easy fact to accept, no?

Mmmm, I'd say more of a nice, hours-long relaxing jog...and if the entire city, and other cities/counties/etc. happen to end up "accidentally" destroyed in the process, 'tis for the most worthy of causes: SCIENCE! Well, more like for personal growth craving reasons, but let's just lie and say SCIENCE!...OK, fine, for trend purposes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 05:16:42 +0000 UTC]

A very easy fact to accept, science is a very important thing to accomplish. Trends are a part of social SCIENCE, and if the new trend is growing to amazing heights, even for one's own gain it is still science.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 05:20:38 +0000 UTC]

Dohoho, well-reasoned indeed. So under the guise of social trend scientific growth, there's absolutely no reason why she shouldn't shoot for the moon (or higher!) in terms of her new experiment!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 05:23:08 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! All for science indeed, this way she can also show that you don't need a rocket to get to the moon. Keep running gal!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 05:31:05 +0000 UTC]

A rocket? Of course not! All you need is a little dose of step-triggered growth, and with a few hours of running under your belt (backwards jogging preferred for the biggest results!), you'll easily reach the moon, if not accidentally bash it on your way up there!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 05:33:24 +0000 UTC]

Thankfully she shall be large enough that the bash won't hurt at all, may knock the moon out of alignment but oh well. It is for the name of science.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 05:42:04 +0000 UTC]

Not at all; with great size comes unspoken invincibility...that or it's another side-effect of the experiment. Nonetheless, 'tis for the name of SCIENCE as you said, so there's no reason to stop the glorious amount of growth she's undergoing with each successive backstep.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 05:45:48 +0000 UTC]

I believe her body is trying to protect its new size by granting a certain amount of invincibility, I mean how else could she survive in the reaches of space when she wishes to keep growing. The power that resides in her body grows alongside her.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 06:01:49 +0000 UTC]

Makes perfect sense to me; after all, her body will have to adapt itself to no longer needing food, water, sleep, and air, becoming wholly self-sustaining if she wishes to keep enlarging in the endless void of space. Of course, I've heard that that experiment is having another interesting effect on her as well: The creation of a unique gravitational plane directly beneath her feet. Through the use of this miniature subplane, it's as if she has her own personal walkway wherever she goes, allowing her to backjog through space as if she were still running normally. Heh, what can SCIENCE not do these days, eh?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 06:05:05 +0000 UTC]

I see, I see. I too have heard of this gravitational field as well. She truly is becoming a planet in her own right. However she is more powerful thank any planet in the known existence. The personal walkway will surely aid in her experiment. Science truly is an amazing thing, *smokes pipe while thinking*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 06:19:53 +0000 UTC]

Ah, good, good. Yes, soon enough rivaling the planets themselves; she might even be classified as a growing cosmic entity at this rate. The personal walkway will definitely help with her continued growth...especially if other planets accidentally end up under her shoes along the way. Ah, the wonders of SCIENCE... *Blows bubble pipe*

All hail the new entity of the multiverse. Like the Juggernaut from X-Men once she gets moving there is no stopping her. She does wonder if she has made her parents proud, being an all power growing comic entity is not what they expected though.

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 06:39:29 +0000 UTC]

The Unstoppable *Insert name here* she is indeed; once she gets growing, there's no way to slow her down. I'm sure they're plenty proud of her just as long as she doesn't accidentally crash into the Earth - now they've got the ultimate bragging rights! "Yes, our daughter is big enough to be a planet, and growing. And yours is...?"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 06:44:05 +0000 UTC]

We shall call her Serena. The gravitational plane on the bottom of her feet also seem to have another side effect, the earth is now rotating around them! This way the planet is avoiding being crushed, that is quite the lucky break. "Big enough and powerful enough to destroy the known universe too."

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 07:02:35 +0000 UTC]

A lovely name for a lovely goddess. What a wonderful side effect, especially since it preserves the planet in the process...Of course, the time it takes to rotate around it only once will be incalculable if she keeps on growing...which is a 100% likely scenario.

"Well, she's getting there, at least. Our little Serena with the universe soon at her feet...They say college changes a person, but who knew our little girl would change into a living goddess!"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 14:54:39 +0000 UTC]

I have also noted two other side effects of her sheer growth. One is that it seems like her shoes are giving off rays of light like the sun. This could because just from sheer amount of energy she is outputting or she may have somehow absorbed the sun.

The other thing to note is I believe she has stopped aging. This is in regards to your statement about her no longer needing to breathe, eat, sleep or drink. So for the rest of eternity this is how she will be, not bad if I do say so myself.

"Who cares if your son is a doctor, ours is a goddess!"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 19:05:39 +0000 UTC]

I'd say probably both: Natural bioluminescence created from solar absorption, concentrated to emanate solely at a point of her choosing - namely, her shoes. An advanced godly technique to be certain.

Aye, you'd be right on that second note as well - the experiment pretty much halted the aging process as well, leaving her eternally young. Wouldn't mind being a beautiful young gal for all of time and beyond myself.

"Do we need to spell it out? G-O-D-D-E-S-S. Goddess! Can the world survive if your daughter stops providing it with light? We didn't think so. She's ensuring the survival of the human race, while your daughter...what, teaches a few students? Not very impressive..."

From an average human girl, to a beautiful goddess in a matter of days. She shall wander the galaxies for all time, all the while keeping the Earth safe from anything. I would love the to see the bibliography on her life. "From Human to God: The Story of Serena."

A glorious existence to have, I'd say - growing larger and learning more about the heavens, all whilst protecting her home world in the process. I'm sure her parents would get major royalties off the film, which since it would be about said Goddess Serena, would be a high-budget film with tons of special effects...and plenty of backpeddling!

Again would love to see this film and read the book. Now think about this for future generations her relatives shall look skyward and see her. Knowing that she is protecting them from all sorts of things. I believe a new planetary system may form too, she would want the people of Earth to have nice neighbors.

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 22:33:43 +0000 UTC]

Would be quite the thrilling tale, and would continue to provide bragging rights for future generations of her family. Of course, I'm certain Serena would use her newfound abilities to create a new solar system structured around one of her feet, even if said system now is the relative size of a galaxy!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 22:38:58 +0000 UTC]

Wonderful bragging rights indeed. One has to wonder exactly what powers our beautiful Goddess has. As a now all powerful being she is able to create many new systems around her feet. Forever growing in size and power.

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 22:52:12 +0000 UTC]

Mmmm, one could only fathom what powers she has unlocked on her way to true omnipotence, possibly gaining a new ability every hour or so. I'd say she even has the possibility to terraform out of nothing, populating planets full of devout worshipers, along with statues littered throughout dedicated to her divine footwear. The possibilities of Serena's enjoyment while forever locked in a cycle of growth and empowerment is known only to her.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 23:00:33 +0000 UTC]

From our data, I believe she is actually gaining new powers every half hour instead. Observe her shoes at this moment. *Energy swells around the growing shoes* See reality is blurring around her at this moment. She is creating different realities as we speak! Planets are so elementary to her, she is creating other dimensions!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 23:20:11 +0000 UTC]

Great Scott, you're right! Astounding! She's reached the point where she can create her own parallel realities, something we didn't think she'd achieve for a while! It must be those shoes that are having this accelerated acquisition effect on her - that's the only conclusion! Thus, it must be that said Converse have a role to play in her rapid apotheosis and growth!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 23:24:43 +0000 UTC]

See I told you those played a major role, now observe as she grows into many dimensions at once. Her power really does not know any bounds! Today we witnessed a mere girl ascend to godhood, I thought these events were just myths.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

awesomex18 In reply to Samarkana [2014-03-06 23:46:29 +0000 UTC]

Indeed you did; now I'll have to perform tests on all sorts of similar shoes to see if they play an equally big role. Look at that! Not only is she enlarging into other dimensions, but she's compressing space-time itself to meld them into this dimension. Truly astounding! This isn't a myth at all my good sir - Serena has proven today that gods or goddesses can be created...and with utterly spectacular results...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Samarkana In reply to awesomex18 [2014-03-06 23:52:33 +0000 UTC]

Make sure you truly absorb it all, i.e. reality exists only as part of your imagination, your pulse is creation incarnate, etc."* Er, right, to the SCIENCE!-mobile! If this is merely the power we see occurring at her feet, then Serena herself...I shudder to think of the power radiating from her form! Well, luckily the power we see coming from her Converse isn't secretly the full extent and source of her powers...Then those shoes would really be divine.
