Description
Blue Tit outside one of the bird boxes we have on the outer wall of the house.I'm never quite sure what to do with portrait shaped photos, i've set this quite narrow (600x800). If its too small the download link will offer full size (2800x3600px)
Unfortunately the birdbox isnt visible from any of the main rooms of the house either. Although, in fairness we put them up for the birds benefit not mine
What i do get to see is the birds comming to the tree outside my window and pecking at the moss growing on it. So far i have noticed pairs of Bluetits, Robins, Goldfinches and Great Tits gathering materials for nests. This is the only location i know where the nest actually is though. Even this is very hard to get a photo of without scaring them away.
Picture #2 (Inside box) [link]
I'm not sure if its the same individual but i recently got quite a nice shot of a Blue Tit on the tree that i can see from my window. [link]

greta shot, i love bluetits, they so sweet. every year we get a family of them in our birdbox and my dad has installe da tiny camera in the box and a screen in our kitchen so every year we get to watch the babies grow and its very interesting, although sad because its natural that not all the chicks survive

Ah cool! I actually looked on the internet about buying one of these the other day, they are pretty expensive and i dont think i'd be able to wire it up either.
It must be sad indeed if/when one of the chicks fails to make it.
Hopefully made up when the others take their first flight out into the world!
