Description
On my way out to fill the bird nuts up on the first warm day of the year, i noticed about 30 LadyBirds (LadyBugs - Americans) in about 1sq/meter of plants by our front door. Being about the only nature photographer without close up ladybird mating photos i thought it would be a good chance to experiment with close up photography again and help pass some time.

I also tried in a seperate image, with, hmm, some success to desaturate (de/un-saturate?) the leaves somewhat. Again, more for the learning than the end result. Viewable [link]
